About Pay Attention
Everyone wants to change the world. (Well, just about everyone.) But many of us have no idea where to begin. It does seem a daunting task, after all–take on world peace, stop global hunger, and save the polar bears all before lunch. But it doesn’t have to be.We can each take small steps every day to create a force so powerful, so huge, that the world has no choice but to change!
That’s what Pay Attention is all about. Let’s find those daily actions–many of them seemingly small–that can help us be the catalysts for change. We’ll sign petitions, write letters, use widgets and blogs and social networks, click every day for charity, and maybe even throw in some bigger things, like make phone calls or go canvassing. Every action makes a difference; as Lao Tzu said, “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” Let’s take that journey together, step by step, and create the world we want to live in.
