Stop Gas Flaring

Ask the Nigerian government to stop gas flaring in Niger Delta communities. This flaring causes acid rain as well as asthma and other respiratory diseases, harming both the ecosystem and the people of the area. A court order was issued to stop the flaring in 2005 on the grounds that it “violates the fundamental right to life and dignity,” yet it still persists.
